Sree Guru Stotram :

  1. Akhanda Mandalaakaaram
    Vyaaptam Yenam charaacharam
    Tatpadam Darshitam Yena
    Tasmai Sri Gurave Namaha.

    Meaning: Guru can guide us to the supreme knowledge of THAT which pervades all the living and non-living beings in the entire Universe (namely Brahman). I salute such a Guru.

  2. Agnyaana Timiraandhasya
    Gnyaana Anjana Shalaakayaa
    Chakshuhu Unmeelitam Yenam
    Tasmai Sri Gurave Namaha.

    Meaning: A Guru can save us from the pangs of ignorance (darkness) by applying to us the balm of knowledge or awareness of the Supreme, I salute such a Guru.

  3. Sthaavaram Jangamam Vyaaptam
    Yatkinchit Sacharaa Charam
    TatPadam Darshitam Yena
    Tasmai Sri Gurave Namaha.

    Meaning: That Guru who can enlighten us about the all pervading consciousness present in all the three world or states (of JaagrathSwapna and Sushupti … activity, dream and deep sleep state), I salute such a Guru.

  4. Chinmayam Vyaapi Yatsarvam
    Trailokya Sacharaa Charam
    TatPadam Darshitam Yena
    Tasmai Sri Gurave Namaha.

    Meaning: That revered Master who directs my attention to the ONE divinity existing in all that is inert (immobile) as well as that which is active (mobile), I salute such a Guru.

  5. Sarva Sruti Shiroratna
    Viraajita Padambujaha
    Vedaantaambuja Sooryo Yah
    Tasmai Sri Gurave Namaha.

    Meaning: That Guru who is the ocean of the Srutis (Vedas), the Sun of knowledge (who can destroy our ignorance with these rays), I salute such a Guru.

  6. Chaitanyah Shaashwatah Shaantho
    Vyomaateeto Niranjanaha
    Bindu Naada Kalaateetaha
    Tasmai Sri Gurave Namaha.

    Meaning: That Guru who is the representative of the unchangeable, ever present, peaceful spirit, who is one pointed and beyond the realm of space and time, whose vision is always enchanting, I salute such a Guru.

  7. Gnyaana Shakti Samaaroodah
    Tatwa Maalaa Vibhooshitaha
    Bhukti Mukti Pradaaneyna
    Tasmai sri Gurave Namaha.

    Meaning: The one who is an ocean of knowledge, who is always in Yoga (in unison With God) who is adorned by the knowledge of the God principle, the One Who can liberate us from this mundane existence, I salute such a Guru.

  8. Aneka Janma Sampraapta
    Karma Bandha Vidaahine
    Atma Gnyaana Pradaaneyna
    Tasmai Sri Gurave Namaha.

    Meaning: The one who can help us free from the chain of karma accumulated over several lives, by teaching us the knowledge of the self (Atma Gnyaana), I salute such a Guru.

  9. Shoshanam Bhava Sindhoscha
    Gnyaapanam Saarasampadaha
    Guror Padodakam Samyak
    Tasmai Sri Gurave Namaha.

    Meaning: The one who can help us cross this ocean of life, the one who can reveal to us the Divine, I adore his Paadukaas (hold on to his feet), I salute such a Guru.

  10. Na Guror Adhikam Tatwam
    Na Guror Adhikam Tapaha
    Tatwa Gnyaanaat Param Naasti
    Tasmai Sri Gurave Namaha.

    Meaning: There no greater principle than the Guru; there is no greater penance than the Guru; There is no greater knowledge than meditation on such a Guru. I salute such a Guru.

  11. Mannaathah Sri Jaganaatho
    Madguruhu Sri Jagad Guruhu
    Madh Atma Sarva Bhootaatma
    Tasmai Sri Gurave Namaha.

    Meaning: The Lord of the world is my Lord and the Guru of the World is my Guru, the SELF in me is the same which is present in all (the same divinity inherent in all beings). I salute such a Guru (who gives me this insight).

  12. Guroraadi Anaadischa
    Guruh Parama Daivatam
    Guroh Parataram Naasti
    Tasmai Sri Gurave Namaha.

    Meaning: The Guru has neither beginning nor end; the Guru is the ultimate God (in the visible form). There is nothing beyond this Guru principle, and I salute such a Guru.

 

Sree Sainatha Mahima Strotram

1. Sadaa satswaroopam chidaananda kandam

Jagat sambhavasthaana samhaara hetum

Swabhaktechhayaa maanusham darsayantam

Namameeswaram Sadgurum Sainaatham.

Meaning  : Let us bow down to the lord Sadguru Sainath, who is Truth Incarnate and is always inConsciousness and Bliss; the God who is the cause of creation, existence and destruction of the world; and, who has come in to this world in a human form for the sake of his own devotees.

2. Bhavadwaantha vidhwamsa maarthaanda

meeddyam manovaagateetam munir dhyana gamyam

Jagadvyapakam nirmalam nirgunam twaam

Namameeswaram Sadgurum Sainaatham.

Meaning  : Let us bow down to the lord Sadguru Sainath, who is the bright sun whose light destroys the darkness of worldly desires; who is beyond the realm of speech and mind, but accessible to the sages who are engrossed in meditation – One who pervades the whole world, pure and devoid of all attributes.

3. Bhawaambhodi magnaarthitaanaam Janaanaam

Swapaadaasritaanaam swabhakti priyaanaam

Samuddhaaranaartham kalow sambhavantam

Namameeswaram Sadgurum Sainaatham.

Meaning  : Let us bow down to the lord Sadguru Sainath, who has manifested in this kaliyug (The dark and the troublesome age of present) for the salvation of those who believe in devotion to Him and those who have taken refuge at his feet as they are drowning and tormented by the ocean of worldliness.

4. Sadaa nimba vrikshasya mooladhivaasaat

Sudhaasravinam tiktamapya priyantam

Tarum kalpa vrikshaadhikam saadhayantam

Namameeswaram Sadgurum Sainaatham.

Meaning  : Let us bow down to the lord Sadguru Sainath who, By Let us bow down to the lord Sadguru Sainath, whose innumerable and wonderfulLeelas(divine play), unheard of and unimagined, have displayed His divine splendorous glory; yet who is devoid of ego and is happily absorbed in the Self.

5. Sataam Vishramaaraama mevaabhiraamam

sadaa sajjanaih samsthutam sannamadbhih

Janaamodadam bhakta bhadrapradantam

Namameeswaram Sadgurum Sainaatham.

Meaning  : Let us bow down to the lord Sadguru Sainath, who is the perennial abode of rest, repose and refuge for the virtuous people and to whom praises are directed by good and pious persons- He who is the bestower of happiness and welfare to His devotees.

6. Ajanmaadhyamekam param brahma saakshaat

Swayam sambhavam raamamevaavateernam

Bhawadharshanaathsa m puneetah praboham

Namameeswaram Sadgurum Sainaatham.

Meaning  : Let us bow down to the lord Sadguru Sainath, who is the Self-manifested, the Absolute Brahman, verily the Supreme Creator Incarnate, the Being without beginning or end, who has descended on this earth in the Ram avatar (Incarnation) . O lord, I have been sanctified by your darshan.

7. Sree Sayeesa kripaanidhe akhilanrinaam

sarwaartha siddhi prada Yushmatpaadarajah

prabahavamatulam dhaataapi vaktaakshhamah

Sadbhakthyaa saranam kritaan jali putah

samprapthithosmi prabho Shrimath Sayi paresa

paada kamalaa naanya ccharanyam mama

Meaning  : O Lord Sai, treasure-house of mercy, the bestow-er of all wealth, success and inspiration, even the creator is unable to describe the incomparable power of the dust of your feet. With my folded hands and true devotion, I surrender to you O Lord. There is no refuge for me, except the lotus feet of Shrimat Sainath, the Lord.

8. Sayiroopadhara raaghavottamam,

Bhakta kaama vibhuda dhrumam prabhum

Maayayopahata chitta shudhayae,

Chintayaamyahamahar nisam mudaa

Meaning  : Lord Sai is the avatar of Raghav (Incarnation of Ram), the Lord who fulfills the desires of His devotees for the purification of their infatuated and deluded hearts and minds – to whom I pray, day and night, untiringly and blissfully.

9. Sharat sudhaamsu pratrima prakaasam,

kripatapaatram tava Sainaatha Twadeeya

paadaabja samaashritaanaam,

Swachhaayayaa taapamapaa karothu

Meaning  : Lord Sainath, the canopy of your mercy is like the intense luster of the autumn moon. Grant the cool shade (from that canopy) from the blazing heat of the three-fold calamities of life to those who have taken shelter at your feet.

10. Upaasanaa Daivata Sainaatha,

Sthavairmayopaasani naasthu sthatwam

Ramenmaromne tava paadayugme bhrungo,

Yathaabji makarmda lubdhah

Meaning  : Lord Sainath you are my God, whom I worship. I extol your praises. Let my mind dwell lovingly at your lotus feet, just as the bee hovers over the lotus flowers enticed by the desire of honey.

11. Aneka janmaarjita paapasamkshayo,

Bhavet bhawatpaada saroja darshanaat

Kshamaswa sarvaanaparaadha poonjakaan,

praseeda Sayeesa Sadguro dayaanidhe

Meaning  : Lord Sai, Ocean of compassion, bless me and pardon me for all my innumerable faults. May my boundless sins which have accumulated over several cycles of life be destroyed by thedarshan of your feet

12. Sri Sainatha charanaamrita purnachithaah,

Sthwatpaada seva narataah satatamcha bhaktyaa

Samsaara janya duritaagha vinirgataaste,

kaivalya dhaama paramam samavaapnuvanti

Meaning  : Those whose minds become purified by the nectar of tirth (Water deemed to be Holy from the washings of Lord’s feet) of Shri Sainath, those who are constantly absorbed in His service with – devotion they get freed from the distress caused by worldliness and attain salvation.

13. Strotrame tatpatte bhakthyaa yonara asthanmanaahsadaa

Sadguroh Sainaadhasya kripa paatram bhaveddhruham.

Meaning  : Whosoever always recites this hymn with devotion and absorption will certainly be the recipient of the grace of Sadguru Sainath for his whole life.
