WELCOME!

Welcome to the Sathya Sai Center of South Houston. Our center has various ongoing activities in the Devotional, Service, SSE and Young adult wings.
On account of Covid-19 situation, our weekly center activities have migrated to online format.
Information about the scheduled activities in different wings are available in the monthly calendar below. The links called out below provide details of each program and contact information of coordinators.
Devotees are highly encouraged to join the online programs. We invite new devotees to contact council members to be included in center membership.

Disaster Relief Region 10 has been helping with ongoing Disaster relief work in Louisiana after hurricane Laura. Please contact brother Mahesh  at (832)314-6032 if interested in volunteering. 
Our Regional Go- Green initiatives include making all our sevas as green as possible, using biodegradable items for all events ( steel plates, spoons etc are also available to borrow), encouraging devotees to plant and compost. Devotional Activities:

JYOTI MEDITATION AND STUDY CIRCLE

Saturdays from 3:00-4:10 pm. Various topics are discussed from Swami’s literature and discourses. Study guides from SSSIO are also used. Currently these sessions are taking place on zoom. Presentations prepared by a volunteer are discussed by all participants. 

DEVOTIONAL SESSIONS

Sundays from 4:30pm-5:30 pm. Currently in zoom format, these sessions start with multi faith prayer, followed by devotee lead bhajans, and end with Swami’s thought for the day. First Sunday of each month has bhajans by the SSE children.

Service Activities:

Our Core sevas include contactless Narayana sevas for the first three Sundays of the month. Special sevas include the service of the month and Go Green sevas. Please click the links below for more details and contact information.

First Colony & Hwy 6 – First Sunday of the month at 8:30 am
New Territory – Second Sunday of the month at 8:30 am
Katy – Third Sunday of the month at 8:30 am

Breakfast Seva

Katy – First Saturday of the month at 7:30 am
Sugar Land – Third Saturday of the month at 7:30 am

SSE Activities:

SSE enrollment for the fall 2021 session has begun. Kindly view the Weekly Events page to register your child (See link at the top of this page) or contact SSE coordinator Sister Upasana Ramlal 210-294-9481 for new enrollments or any questions.

YA Activities:

Our center has a vibrant young adult group that actively conducts seva and devotional activities. YA meet-ups and monthly study circles specific to Young Adult topics are conducted every month. YA led sevas include the turning point hot lunch seva.
