About Region 10’s SSE Camp
With its beginnings in 2012, Region 10’s SSE Camp has now become a staple in the annual line-up of regional events, delighting and amazing families with new, fun and inspirational activities for children and parents alike.
This year, the SSE children (Grades 1-12) will once again enjoy a parallel SSE Camp within the same facilities as the overall retreat, in Camp Young Judaea. The camp’s objective is to further nurture the children’s experience that “Love is the Source, Love is the Path and Love is the Goal”, all within an atmosphere of fun, games, musical bits and age-appropriate spiritual introspection. The SSE Camp will enjoy several indoor and outdoor activities and workshops conducted by experienced SSE teachers and Young Adults. The children will also enjoy individual talks and performances by our guest speakers.
The SSE Camp last from Saturday Sep 5th morning to Sunday Sep 6th Afternoon. Upon approval from their parents, children aged 10+ (only) will stay overnight in SSE-specific cabins to enjoy the camp experience along with their peers. These cabins will be gender-separated, designated by age-groups and will have adult supervisors at all times. Children under the age of 10 will be accommodated with their parents.
